We spent 10 amazing days in the desert. Oh, how I wish we were still there. It was so nice to escape from reality and spend some QT with J's folks. We spent a lot of time playing, swimming, eating, drinking and just relaxing. J and his Dad were able to golf a few times, too.
Sloane had a busy week! She took her first steps, started signing "more", waving bye bye (all the time) and shaking her head "no no". She definitely understands what we're saying to her now. She was so spoiled - Grandma held her every second of the day!
Our little fish spent hours in the pool.
Daddy earned some cocktail time.
The guys with their evening drinks watching the golfers. B was very into his "boy" time with Daddy and Grandpa.
Grandpa and B.
Daddy worked with B a lot in the pool and it was great to see how much he progressed in his swim skills. He's in lessons now and I think I'll sign him up for some swim blitzes this summer.
S loooved the water too.
We took the kids to the Children's Museum in Rancho Mirage one morning and they loved it. It was a really cool Children's Museum. Here B is making pizza in the kitchen.
Serving Grandpa.
B driving baby Sloane in the car.
S on the motorcycle.
I just cannot get over how big our girl is getting.
It was fun to watch Sloane explore. She went right to the vet hospital area and played with the stuffed animals.
Engineer expert Grandpa is the BEST person to take to the museum. He and B had so much fun building this ball race ramp thing.
How sweet....
My cheeseball....
B is eating constantly these days, he must be growing. Because we were on vacation, he got to enjoy ice cream or fudge popcicles most nights.
Sloane wants whatever we're eating. Here she is having her first taste of ice cream and she loved it.
Our last night Jules took us out to this fun Mexican restaurant for an early Mother's Day celebration. They had a live band playing so we danced with the kids after dinner.
Grandma and Sloane. :)
