Sloane's Beach Bash
The weather and setting couldn't have been more perfect for our baby girl's first birthday party. Such a fun celebration with friends and fam!

I put salt water taffy in small beach pails as party favors. The kids also got beach pails with sand toys and bubbles to take home.
These four have known each other since they were babies. Us mommies have become good friends over the years and I am so grateful for their friendship and our summer happy hour group!

Presents!
Sloane is one lucky little girl and was showered with lots of presents on her first birthday. Bennett could hardly wait until Daddy got home so we could open them before dinner. He was such a big helper - are you surprised? B also chose the dinner spot for our birthday girl, Red Robin. Hmm who's birthday was it again? :)
Bennett was very proud of the gifts he got for Sloane, two new books.
Kyle, Katie, Carter and Kennedy got her a baby doll. You could not believe how excited she was when she opened it!! Poor Sloane plays with all boy toys, but not anymore. This little lady got lots of fun girly toys.

I love watching her cruise around with her stroller.

Disneyland
Disneyland!! Okay, this was definitely the best trip I've had to Dland since I was 6. Corn dogs, churros, ice cream, chocolate covered frozen bananas -- we ate like fat kids and enjoyed every minute of it. Of course we tried to justify it with all the walking we did, but we literally walked for almost 12 hours. We got to the park right when it opened at 9am and left at 8:45pm. My kids are complete Dland champs and neither of them melted down once. We went on a Tuesday and barely had to wait in any lines. We rode so many rides and walked right onto Thunder Mountain. Baby Sloane loved Pirates of the Caribbean and B loved everything, especially Star Tours. He's now shooting anything and everything - thank you to the Buzz Light Year ride.

Gma and Gpa stayed with the kids while J and I rode Indiana Jones.

Gma bought baby Sloane a mini mouse and she loved it. She's so into her stuffed animals and blankies. She's such a cuddler. :)
