First Tooth?

While we were up in Tahoe Bennett started getting his first tooth. I can hardly believe it - he's growing up too fast! He is 3 months old now and getting so big.

Christmas in Tahoe

We had such a wonderful Christmas in Tahoe! We enjoyed great company and yummy food for 4 days while we stayed indoors and kept warm. I was bummed I didn't get any pics of B in the snow, but maybe next time. I had a cute Xmas outfit for him but he looked so comfy in his sweat suit from our car ride up to Tahoe Xmas morning that we decided to keep him in it while we opened presents. Santa really spoiled us this year and especially our little guy. He is one lucky boy!

Merry Christmas!

We took Bennett to meet Santa today at 8AM! He was still a bit sleepy but did great. The professional pics are much better than the ones I managed to snap. Sorry about that, mommy hadn't had her coffee yet. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Our Big Night Out

I'm SO hung over today! We went up to the city last night for Justin's company party at the California Academy of Sciences. Justin rented a limo for the evening so both of us could drink and have fun. We had such a blast and danced our butts off to the awesome tunes DJ AM was spinnin'. Mom/Dad I know you have no clue who DJ AM is.....he's a famous Hollywood DJ so I had to snap a photo. We missed our little guy so much. Grandma and Grandpa Simon watched Bennett for us and I only made Justin call home 2x to check on him. :)

Gettin' Big

Bennett is getting so big! We were meeting a friend for lunch yesterday and I tried to put this hat on him but it wouldn't fit over his head. Needless to say, he didn't like it very much so I had to take it right off. :)

New Favorite Thing

Bennett loves lying on his aquarium mat and playing. His arms and feet go crazy. He has started grasping objects with his hands and holding onto them for longer periods of time now. It's so fun to watch him play & explore.

Bennett & The 49ers

Today Bennett and I went to Target (our new favorite hangout) and ran into the SF 49ers! They were there shopping for Xmas gifts for kids in need. Of course the one day I'm in no makeup, a hat and workout gear! So the big white player in the first photo comes up to me and says "Is that your baby?" I said "Yes, he's almost 3 months old." And he says "He's a good looking kid!" I immediately called Justin and told him to get over to Target so he could see all the players. Sorry the photos didn't turn out well....I was walking and trying to snap with my cell phone w/o looking like a stalker. :)

Baby Uggs

Auntie Dee gave Bennett one of his Xmas gifts a little early.....Baby Uggs! We put them on last night and although they are a little big, they look so dang cute!

The Smell of Pine

We went down to Half Moon Bay yesterday to cut down our Xmas tree. We had to get a tall skinny one this year in order to work in our new living room. Bennett slept through the entire thing, but Justin and I had fun picking it out. Don't think we're total dorks taking our stroller to the tree farm but B hates the Baby Bjorn and I didn't want to wake him up. Afterwards we enjoyed lunch at the Brewery and B slept through that too. He's such an angel!

Goin' Back to Cali

We had such a wonderful trip home for Thanksgiving. I was so thankful that Bennett and I were able to hang at home for a long time (we missed Justin soooo much though!). Some of my favorite Bennett moments of our trip were.....Bennett and my Dad reading the sports page together each morning in "Papa's chair", him cuddling in bed with my mom in the mornings so I could get some extra zzzz's, Carter trying to give Bennett a goodbye kiss but couldn't quite get the angle since B was in his car seat (had to be there), Kennedy sucking on Bennett's hand, and hanging out with Katie and Jack. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family.

A Early Merry Xmas

We celebrated Christmas a month early with the kids over at Katie and Kyle's since we won't be able to make it home this year. :( I couldn't imagine missing Carter rip open his presents! Next year Carter, Kennedy and Bennett all will be in on the action.

Old Times with HS Pals

Bennett and I had cof cof with Nic, Katie, Emerson and Jack. It was soooo good to see the girls and catch up. Emerson and Jack could not be any cuter. I wish we all lived in the same city!

Bennett Meets Papa

I was excited to introduce Bennett to my infamous Papa. He has since been over to my parents house 1-2 times each day to see Bennett. Too cute.

Fun Times with The Cousins

Carter and Kennedy came over to play the first day we got into town. What a fun day we had just relaxing around the house or should I say tearing up Grandma and Papa's house! Carter was soooo sweet with Bennett. He helped feed him, held him and gave him lots of kisses. He likes to come up and say "tickle, tickle" to Bennett's head. I know these two are going to be buddies for life. We laid sweet Kennedy and Bennett down next to each other and they just cooed and kicked. Kennedy liked eating/licking Bennett's hand. haha We just adore our neice and nephew and look forward to the kids spending time together over the years.

Happy Turkey Day!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Peg's yesterday. The food was yummy and we enjoyed spending time with family.
