15 Months

I can hardly believe my little man is 15 months old and growing up so fast. I am happy to report that everything went great at his well check today and Bennett is one healthy, happy, growing boy. Bennett's motor skills are right on track. He likes to pull, push, and dump things, carry George around, turn pages in books and looooves to dance. He's got some killer dance moves! His sensory and thinking skills are great. He identifies objects in books and family members in photos. He loves to laugh at himself when he's being silly. His most spoken words are "Mama, Mom, Dad, dog, up, this, hi and bye." Bennett is very loving and always runs up and gives hugs which just makes you melt. He's going through a mommy phase right now and only wants me if others are around. I'm sure it won't last long though.

This has also been a challenging time for Justin and I as parents. Bennett's developing personality and awareness of himself as an individual has caused a time of testing, noncooperation, and striving for independence. All and all, Bennett is super sweet and a total charmer. When we were discussing our discipline concerns with the pediatrician today she said, "He looks like a perfect charmer to me." Yep, that pretty much sums up our Bennett. :)
