Today my favorite guy turns 6 months old. I can hardly believe it! The past 6 months have flown by and each day we spend with Bennett gets better and better. Bennett is truly the love of our lives and brings us so much joy. Maybe I'm bias b/c I'm his mom, but I'd have to agree with Grandma when she says "he is an angel." :) Bennett is such a great baby and has a sweet, happy, laid back personality. He can be a bit demanding and impatient though when it comes to eating. When the boy is hungry he is hungry! I am still breastfeeding but giving him 1 bottle of formula a day along with solids at dinner time. He is now eating sweet potatoes and peas and pushes my hand away when he's done. The boy is not shy! He is very observant and loves to explore the world around him. He is very alert and his arms and legs are constantly moving - I wish I had that much energy! When we go on walks or are in the yard he reaches out to touch leaves on the trees and flowers. Bennett has mastered rolling over front to back and back to front and is almost sitting up on his own without support. He likes to play independently but also loves to cuddle and nuzzle up to my neck and chest (my favorite). One of our favorite things to do together is reading. I can read him 5-6 books at a time and he likes to open and close the book and turn pages. Overall, Bennett is a very social guy. He's always smiling at strangers while we're out and about and people always comment to me what a great, easy baby he is. We are truly blessed.

Six months old already - where does the time go?!?! The latest pics are darling and I can't wait to see how much he's grown when you visit in a few weeks. We can't wait to see you both! Love and hugs to our most favorite nephew.
