Valentines Day Weekend

My brother, sis-in-law, niece and nephew came to visit us from Portland for 5 days over the holiday weekend. We had such a great visit and were so happy to spend time time with them! Here are a bunch of photos we captured of their visit:

Friday night we had the Simons over for dinner. Carter is playing Wii. We played lots of Wii over the weekend. My 3.5 year old nephew kicked my butt in bowling and gave me tips on how to improve my game --no joke!
Saturday morning breakfast preparation with Uncle Justin. All three kids wanted in on the action.
Three little chefs
Uncle J and Little C hard at work
Saturday we headed to Half Moon Bay for a picnic lunch. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. Too bad it was high tide so we didn't get to walk the beach, but we enjoyed the view.

Carter and B playing in the sand -- I love B's expression in this photo.

Kennedy and B holding hands.....ahhhhh

I love this pic of these two.
Justin and his favorite guy

On Valentines Day, we took Cal Train down to Palo Alto for lunch. This was B's first train ride and he loved it.

This is the first time B drank water out of a straw, so I had to capture it. It's the little things that excite me these days. :)

Kyle and the boys. Carter and Bennett wore watching Vday shirts.

Taking Cal Train back to Belmont. B chose to stand the entire time -- shocker!

Carter was excited to ride on the upper level of the train on the way home. He kept yelling, "Aunt Stacy, look at me!"

Our attempt to get a shot of the kids in their cute Vday gear. Yeah, not happening.

Bennett and Kennedy in the toy basket.

Uncle J and Miss Kennedy

Bath time
They look so innocent, but as you can see, they tried to squirt us with water.

Monday we headed up to SF to the California Academy of Sciences. Here are the two little ones watching all the fishies swim by.

Little Beethovens

We had a playdate with a friend from school early this morning in our jammies. The boys had so much fun playing and I loved catching up with a friend over coffee. Here they are tickling the ivories.....

Sledding in Tahoe

Parental Control

Who knew that a 16 month old could press the right amount of buttons to order not one, but TWO pay-per-view movies! Well, apparently our remote control loving son does. I called Comcast today and they removed the charges from our bill and helped me set up 'parental control' on our cable box. Bennett, always making me laugh. :)

Rough Day

This has not been a fun way to end our week! Bennett fell outside head first onto a stone rock this morning and cut his forehead and nose pretty good. Then this afternoon he fell and cut his lip! He's a pretty tough little dude though and bounced back quick. We'll be snuggling and watching Tigger and Pooh the rest of the afternoon. :)

Time for Rain Boots

Here are some cute pictures of my little guy playing in the puddles at the SF Zoo yesterday. We had a fun day celebrating Reese's 1st birthday and even managed to stay dry for a couple hours!

Out of the stroller and on the run......

Tongues out--gettin' ready for some serious splashing!

Just gettin' started. And yes, those are brand new shoes from his Guncle Scott. :)

Taking a ride on Daddy's shoulders the rest of the way.

Graduate Already?

Today was a big day for Little B - he graduated from gym class! haha Once a week for the past 20 weeks, we've attended gym. It's AMAZING to see the progress he and all the other 'birdies' (as they call them in class) have made. Not only did he start walking right after we started gym (when he was only 11 months old), but his core is stronger, his balance has improved, he learned to climb, gained more courage, etc. etc. I'm so proud of him! Gym has been a fun treat for both of us. In fact, sometimes I'm so wiped out from 1 hour of his class that I cruise through McDonald's drive thru on the way home for a diet coke. :)
