Sloane Annabelle!

On May 17th we were blessed with the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Sloane Annabelle. She made quite the entrance into this world as I barely made it to the hospital in time to deliver her! We got into our room at 4:30 a.m. and she was born at 5:25 a.m. There was no time for an epideral, an IV, or any drugs (which I was VERY unhappy about), but luckily I only pushed for 10-15 minutes so the pain was quickly forgotten. Things happened so fast that I wasn't even admitted into the hospital until AFTER I delivered her. Definitely a story we will never forget! :)

Sloane is such a sweet baby and reminds me a lot of her brother. She doesn't cry much at all and loves to be held all the time. She's eating every 3 hours and sleeping most of the day. Now, we just need her to sleep for longer stretches at night! She loves her hands to be held and enjoys lots of kisses. Bennett has been extremely sweet and gentle with her. We knew he'd be a great big brother. We are loving every second with our little girl and can't wait to watch her grow.

Train Date

Jules and I took the kids for a ride on Caltrain this morning. They had so much fun and chatted the entire way. I think the highlight was holding up their tickets to show the conductor. They didn't let go of their tickets the entire ride. Afterwards, we went to Starbucks for juice and a pink donut. Let's just say the mommies are worn out! Two funny quotes from B on the train:

"Julie! We're going to the Giants game!" There is a day game today and the train was full of Giants fans.

Julie to the kids: "You guys will have to tell your daddies about your ride this morning."
B: "Justin?"
Julie: "Is Justin your daddy?"
B: "No, Justin is my friend."

Happy Easter

My little munchkin
Just like his Godfather. Uncle Kyle always brought toys to church.

B had a blast dying Easter eggs this year.

Ready to Pop

The countdown begins until our little princess arrives. We are getting very excited! B walked up to me yesterday, pulled up his shirt and said, "Mommy, my tummy hurts. Baby is kicking." :)

SF Day

I went to bed at 8:30pm last night and woke up feeling so rested. I asked Justin if he wanted B and I to drive him to work today so he wouldn't have to take the company shuttle and he said "sure"! B has Spring Break this week so we've been busy with lots of fun-filled activities and time with friends. Today was the first day all week we had nothing planned, so we headed to the city at 7am and toured around Pier 39, visited Coit Tower, drove down Lombard Street, etc. B looooooved the sea lions at the pier. He called them "stinky lions". Bennett has been really into his San Francisco books lately (which he calls "cisco books") so I thought it was a perfect opportunity for a little field trip, just the two of us. I'm not going to lie....I'm doing everything I can to be active and get this baby out!

Checking out the boats.
Maybe I should have put makeup on this morning?!

It's impossible for me to get a good picture of him looking at the camera, but I'll keep trying.
Sitting on the steps eating his mini donuts.

This cracks me up. Just like a SF bum on a bench!

Soccer??

I signed Justin and B up for Daddy and Me soccer this spring. I thought it would be a fun activity for the two of them to do together before/after the baby comes. Bennett told me that the coach kept blowing a whistle that hurt his hears. ha I can't wait to go next Saturday to watch! This video pretty much sums up soccer "practice" with a bunch of 2-3 year olds. :)
